The Shenzhen office is located on the 17th floor of the China Resources Land Building tower, within the city’s Nanshan District.
Outside the office, the team in Shenzhen attend yoga classes, play badminton and squash, and often attend talks and events together. They also hold an annual summer party in September to celebrate their achievements over the past year.
Foster + Partners has completed a range of projects within Shenzhen, including Xiaojing Bay China Resources University, a training base for the corporate headquarters of China’s most successful real estate developer; the Nanshan Technology Finance City (where the office is located), an integrated mixed-use community at the centre of the Shenzhen High-Tech Industrial Park; SANY Cloud City, the headquarters for one of the largest construction equipment manufacturers in the world; and DJI Sky City, the new headquarters for the world’s leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology.
The team are also working on the China Merchants Bank Headquarters in Shenzhen, which comprises a striking tower as the key component of a vibrant mixed-use development that creates a new city quarter.
