Teso, Molteni&C

The low Teso Table is the successor to the award-winning Arc table and shares a similarly experimental approach to materials and production methods. The table’s base is formed by a robotic arm, which is used to press and twist a perforated disc of steel into a tough, tapered cylinder. The design team tested different perforations to the flat metal sheet that would give the base strength, while creating a distinctive geometric patterned mesh – the resulting filigree texture is visible through a simple etched glass top. The table is available in a bronze, silver or gold-coloured finish.
