Foster + Partners and Lumina have had an extremely fruitful relationship that began with the iconic Flo lamp. To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the partnership, the practice has designed a series of luminaires that explore the mechanics and poetics of reflected light. All three lamps embody an honest aesthetic that is inspired by their function, the process of making and the tactility of materials.
Following on from the success of the Eva lamp, Lumina is releasing a smaller version called Eve – a streamlined version of the original that contains a thin metal bevel at the top and a touchtronic base that replaces the dimmer-wheel.
