Yorgos graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milano in 2010, where he studied Urban and Architectural Design. His interest in technological innovation led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Emergent Technologies and Design at the Architectural Association in London. He joined Foster + Partners in 2014 and has since contributed to several large-scale, complex projects, including Lusail Stadium, Al Sa’ad Plaza Towers in Qatar, and the King Salman International Airport in Saudi Arabia. He specialises in complex geometries and building envelopes, with expertise in computational and environmental design. His skill set allows him to seamlessly integrate the contributions of large, multidisciplinary teams into the design process. Originally from Greece, Yorgos has a strong appreciation for team sports and has been an avid basketball player since a young age, playing in the role of the playmaker.
