Weijie Liu gained a Master of Architecture at the Berlage Institute in the Netherlands in 2007. On graduating, he joined Foster + Partners to work on several projects in Europe and the Middle East including Masdar City, the first carbon neutral city in Abu Dhabi, and Bloomberg’s European headquarters in London, one of the world’s most sustainable offices. In 2012, Weijie relocated to the practice’s Shanghai office to oversee major projects in Shanghai and Hangzhou, notably the Bund Finance Centre, the Bund Riverside Development, and Suhe Centre for China Resourses Land. He offers in-depth knowledge and experience in overseeing all project stages: from concept design to technical drawings to site supervision. This makes Weijie well placed to provide excellent design services for headquarters, mixed-use, transit-oriented development and retail projects.
