Before returning to London in 2018, after extended work periods in Abu Dhabi and Madrid, Pedro used to co-led the New York Studio with an emphasis on projects in the Southern Americas currently in Miami, Rio de Janeiro and Mexico City. He gained his BA in Architecture from Edinburgh College of Art-Heriot Watt University in 1988, and received his post graduate degree, with distinction, from University College London in 1993. Past relevant projects include the Central Markets and Masdar City in Abu Dhabi, as well as the Amaravati Masterplan in India, focussing on the design of the State Parliament and High Court buildings.
