Cristina studied architecture in Rome and Madrid. She moved to London in 2000 after completing her studies and joined Foster + Partners in 2003. She was initially involved in the Milan Fair Competition, and has led competition winning teams and designed luxury resorts in Brazil, Spain and Italy. Since 2009 she has been part of the Apple Park design team and is now based in California overseeing the completion of the project. In 2015 she was shortlisted for the AJ's Women in Architecture Award.
