Iwan has worked at Foster + Partners for over 30 years and is responsible for delivering all the practice's projects for Hankook Tire + Technology and The McLaren Technology Group. He has previously been involved on the Marine Simulator Centre in Rotterdam, Hotel Silken Puerta América in Madrid, and the Langley Academy in Slough, UK – where he was subsequently appointed as a governor of the academy. More recently, Iwan has focused on large scale developments in Korea for Lotte, CJ and Shinsegae and pioneering projects in Egypt for Scope and TMG. He is currently working on the delivery of the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo. Iwan studied at the Welsh School of Architecture and then worked for both Shepherd Epstein and Hunter and Robshaw Richmond before joining Foster + Partners.
