Ian gained his RIBA Part III from Edinburgh College of Art/Heriot-Watt University. He joined Foster + Partners’ Hong Kong office in 1996, where he worked on the Chek Lap Kok Airport. After relocating to the London office in 1998, he is currently leading the project for the Willis Towers Watson in London before completing the SNB Head Office in Riyadh and ICD Brookfield Place, in Dubai, and the project for a new public square at Haymarket, Edinburgh. He was made a partner in 2006.
