Spencer de Grey joins new Design for London Advisory Group

Spencer de Grey, Deputy Chairman of Foster + Partners, has been appointed to Design for London's new Advisory Group, launched by the Mayor last month. Members of the Advisory Group will give strategic advice on the design of major projects across the Greater London Authority Group and more widely across London. As well as providing high-level advice and expertise, the group will act as an ambassador for its mission to promote and deliver world-class architecture and sustainable, inclusive design for London's buildings and public spaces.

The Advisory Group comprises a cross section of external experts with experience that ranges from architecture to engineering, as well as sustainable design, construction and landscape design. It unites existing design teams from the Greater London Authority, the London Development Agency and Transport for London. The Group members will be chaired by Lord Richard Rogers, under the leadership of the newly appointed Director, Peter Bishop.
