Originally conceived for the interior design of the Posthaus restaurant in St. Moritz, the Illium light concept has now been extended to a family of lights for the Italian lighting manufacturer, Nemo. The design of the standing lamp, reading lamp, table lamp and pendant lamp are derived from the very material they are made from, Conturax; a pyrex glass tube. The elegant tube of glass is lined with a frosted polycarbonate, so that the light is diffuse, and the internal fluting of the glass creates a delicate play of light.
The 2007 Fiera Milano takes place from 18-23 April.
